Clifftop sits on a ridge in the Welgevonden Private Game Reserve, a malaria-free Big Five reserve of 36,000 hectares in the Waterberg that borders Marakele National Park. It has eight free-standing suites, each with its own deck, plunge pool and thatched sala looking out over the valley.

The rate includes three meals, selected local drinks and two game drives a day in open vehicles. Guests leave their cars at the reserve gate and are driven in, and the lodge takes guests aged 13 and over. Massages, bush walks, star gazing and a private vehicle can be arranged.
