The lodge

Five waterside suites for ten guests around a rim-flow pool above the dam, in the Mabula Private Game Reserve.

Kingfisher Villa Suites is a small villa of five suites at the water's edge in the Mabula Private Game Reserve. Each suite is named after a kingfisher and looks onto a rim-flow pool and the dam, and the villa takes no more than ten guests, who share a formal lounge, a living area and a dining room.

The rate includes all meals, prepared by a private chef, selected drinks and two game drives a day. Suites are sold one at a time; families and groups can take the whole villa, and then children of any age are welcome.

Highlights

  • Only five suites and ten guests
  • A rim-flow pool overlooking the dam
  • A waterside setting that suits birders and photographers
